Foxboro Field Control Processor FCP280

The Foxboro Field Control Processor FCP280, optionally fault‑tolerant controller module designed for field‑mounted industrial automation. It performs regulatory, logic, timing, and sequential control together with connected Foxboro DCS Fieldbus Modules (FBMs), while also handling data acquisition, alarm detection, and notification. The FCP280 connects to the Foxboro DCS Control Network via standard fiber‑optic or copper 100 Mbps Ethernet through adapters on its baseplate. Compatible with Foxboro DCS Control Core Services software v9.0 or later, the FCP280 forms the core of an EcoStruxure Foxboro DCS Process Automation System, offering high reliability and seamless integration within modern distributed control architectures.
