The IS420YDIAS1B Discrete Contact Input I/O Pack is designed for Mark VIeS Functional Safety Systems, providing the electrical interface between one or two I/O Ethernet (IONet) networks and a compatible discrete input terminal board. The module consists of a common processor board and a dedicated acquisition board for discrete input processing, enabling reliable acquisition of field contact signals in safety-critical control applications.
The IS420YDIAS1B supports up to 24 contact input channels together with terminal board feedback signals and is compatible with 24 VDC and 48 VDC contact input terminal boards. It features dual RJ-45 Ethernet ports, built-in diagnostic LEDs, and support for Simplex, Dual, and Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) system architectures when used with compatible terminal boards. These capabilities make the module suitable for new installations, lifecycle maintenance, and replacement projects within Mark VIeS safety systems.
