0927400 is a 2/2-way normally closed (N.C.) pilot-operated diaphragm solenoid valve in the 0927 series. It is the 1-inch port / 25 mm orifice size of the series and is commonly used for controlling air, water, light oil, and other compatible fluids.
Working Principle
The 0927400 uses a pilot-operated diaphragm structure.
When the coil is de-energized, the valve remains closed. When the coil is energized, the pilot mechanism changes the pressure balance above the diaphragm, allowing the main valve orifice to open.
Because it is a pilot-operated design, the valve requires a suitable pressure differential for reliable switching. This is an important consideration when using it in low-pressure or zero-pressure applications.
