POE-S1082F, 8 port channels 10/100Mbps IEEE802.3af based protocol standard Power Over Ethernet Switch, it's powered by DC48V/2A external power supply adapter and its Plug and Play design makes it easy to be installed, the terminal connected Powered Device (PD) available are IP Network CCTV Camera, Wireless Access Point (AP), VoIP Phone, etc.
This Power Source Equipment (PSE) of POE Switch usually supply power to terminal PD after an advanced validity detection of PDs, which will indentify it is PoE-enable or PoE-disable terminal device base on IEEE802.3af protocol, The maximum distance of power transmission is 100 meters over cables cat5, cat5e, cat6, etc. which depends on the power degradation over the used cables.
Each port of PoE output power is maximum 15.4W, total amount about 96W output from this 8 port PoE PSE, So, a single port connected powered device power usually 13W maximum, which is workable for most of PDs like IP Camera, Portable Device, etc.
