Product Description

This product is a modified acrylic staple fiber with permanent flame retardant properties achieved through copolymerization or the addition of flame retardant additives. The fiber has a fineness of 2 denier (approximately 20–22 microns), making it a fine denier fiber with a soft and smooth hand feel. The cut length is 51mm, offering good spinnability and web forming performance, suitable for textiles, nonwovens, filling materials, and other applications.

Fineness: 2.0 denier (D), fine denier grade with soft hand feel, providing comfortable fabric touch without skin irritation.

Length: 51mm, suitable for cotton spinning, wool spinning, nonwoven carding, airlaid web forming, and other processes. Good compatibility for blending with cotton, viscose, wool, and other fibers.

Flame Retardant Performance: Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) reaches 28–32%, self-extinguishing when removed from flame, no melting drip. Complies with flame retardant standards such as GB/T 17591, ASTM D6413, EN 533, etc.

Material: Acrylic (polyacrylonitrile), offering softness, bulkiness, good warmth retention, excellent light fastness and weather resistance, plus bright color characteristics.

Cross-section Shape: Typically round or dog-bone shaped; custom profiles available upon request.

Color: Raw white, dyeable, or solution-dyed for other colors.

Optional Modifications: Anti-pilling, antibacterial, antistatic, anti-mildew, etc.
