P   Product Introduction

This product is a 150 denier, 48-filament polyester drawn textured yarn (DTY). It is processed with a semi-dull finish, giving the fiber surface a soft, non-glaring luster suitable for fabrics requiring moderate light reflection. AA grade indicates that the yarn has undergone strict quality control during production, offering excellent evenness, low breakage rate, stable tensile and elastic properties, and uniform oil content.

The yarn features good crimp elasticity, bulkiness, and softness, with uniform intermingling and minimal hairiness or tight spots. It meets the high-quality requirements for high-speed knitting equipment.

Main Application Areas

1. Weft Knitting

• Used on single jersey, double jersey, and rib knitting machines to produce plain, birdseye mesh, air layer, and Roma fabrics.

• Fabrics are soft, elastic, and dimensionally stable.

2. Warp Knitting

• Suitable for high-speed warp knitting machines (e.g., Tricot, Raschel) for manufacturing underwear, sportswear, and swimwear fabrics.

• Fabrics are compact with good extensibility and resilience.

3. Apparel Applications

• T-shirts, sweatshirts, yoga pants, leggings, sportswear – The 150D/48F thickness is moderate, suitable for use alone or covered with spandex to produce stretch fabrics.

• Jacket linings, loungewear, pajamas – Soft, skin-friendly, and breathable.

4. Other Applications

• Footwear materials (sneaker linings, tongue mesh)

• Bag linings

• Automotive interiors (seat side mesh, headliner base fabric)

Primary Applications

This yarn's properties make it ideally suited for weaving fabrics in the following areas:

• Upholstery & Home Furnishing Fabrics: Used for sofas, armchairs, and decorative fabrics where durability, aesthetic appeal (gloss), and some stretch are required.

• Bag & Luggage Material: Ideal for backpacks, travel luggage, and handbags, where strength, abrasion resistance, and vibrant color are key.

• Apparel: Can be used for certain types of outerwear, jackets, and sportswear.

• Shoe Materials: Often used in the fabrication of sportswear shoes and other footwear uppers.

 Recommended Processing Combinations

• Air-covered or mechanically covered with spandex yarn to produce DTY + spandex elastic yarn for tight-fitting sportswear.

• Interwoven with cotton yarn, viscose, or modal to improve fabric moisture absorption and comfort.

• Suitable for disperse dyeing – produces bright colors with good colorfastness (AA grade ensures uniform dye uptake).
