Product Introduction

This product, named Polyester Fully Drawn Yarn 100D/36F Semi-dull Virgin Textured Yarn, is a high-quality yarn made from 100% virgin polyester chips through the spun-drawn one-step process. This production technology ensures the yarn has characteristics such as stable structure, few broken filaments, and high strength, while combining the stability of FDY with the bulky hand feel of textured yarn.

In terms of specifications, 100D represents the fineness of the yarn, meaning that 9,000 meters of this yarn weighs 100 grams. It falls within the medium-fine denier range and is suitable for producing lightweight to medium-weight fabrics. 36F indicates that this yarn is composed of 36 fine individual filaments. This multi-filament design results in a smaller diameter for each filament, which can impart a soft hand feel and excellent drape to the fabric.

"Semi-dull" refers to the addition of an appropriate amount of delustrant to the polyester melt, which effectively eliminates the harsh, mirror-like shine often associated with synthetic fibers. This gives the yarn a soft, natural luster that is visually comfortable and highly suitable for everyday apparel fabrics. The use of virgin raw materials ensures the yarn possesses high tenacity, good dyeing uniformity, and strong batch-to-batch stability, resulting in low breakage rates in subsequent processes.

In terms of processing, this yarn is suitable for use on water-jet looms, air-jet looms, and circular knitting machines. It is recommended to condition the yarn before weaving to reduce torque. For dyeing, high-temperature and high-pressure disperse dyeing is recommended to achieve optimal color fastness and vibrant shades.
