Main Applications

1. Artificial Fur and Plush Toys

This high shrinkage nylon staple fiber is blended with other fibers such as modified acrylic or polyester in artificial fur production. Through steam shrinkage treatment, the fiber ends create crimp and bulk, resulting in high realism and a soft, full hand feel.

2. Bulked Continuous Filament (BCF) Yarn

When blended with regular shrinkage fibers (such as standard polyester or acrylic) and spun into yarn, the high shrinkage nylon contracts during heat treatment, pushing the regular fibers to the surface to create a bulky structure. This is ideal for producing bulked yarn for knitted sweaters, scarves, carpets, and similar products.

3. Needle-Punched Nonwoven Fabrics

Adding high shrinkage nylon staple fiber to nonwoven fabric production increases fabric thickness and volume while improving resilience and softness. This is suitable for automotive interiors, filtration materials, and sound insulation products.

4. Filling Materials

This fiber can be used for filling pillows, cushions, and bedding. The high shrinkage property makes the filling more fluffy and full, with good resilience and resistance to matting.

5. Carpets

Nylon itself offers excellent abrasion resistance and resilience. The high shrinkage version further increases the pile fullness and underfoot comfort, making it suitable for high-end household and commercial carpets.
