Description
 
Our Threaded Swage Studs are available for wire rope with a diameter from 1/4" to 2-1/4", thread sizes from M12 to M90. 
 
The Threaded Swage Studs are designed to be swaged or crimped into position. Available in left- or right-handed thread. Metric threads available upon request. 
 
They are forged from high tensile stainless steel, while galvanization ensures its long-term durability. This type of wire rope end fittings are used to allow tightening of cable assemblies to specific tensions. 
 
Important features:
- Reference standard: ASME B30.9
- Our Swage Studs are recommended used for wire ropes feature 6 x 19, 6 x 25, 6 x 37 construction, with tension strength ranging from 1670 MPa to 1960 MPa.
- Swaged Terminals of the wire rope should be went through tension proof testing in accordance with the ASME B30.9 standard requirements. 
- Maximum Proof Load Capacity should be no more than 50% of Breaking Load Capacity for wire ropes that with higher strength of 1960 MPa.
