Remove the barrier from storage and lay it flat on the ground with the rubber plate facing down
Grasp both sides with both hands and pull outward to fully unfold
Place it transversely at the location requiring protection, facing the oncoming traffic direction
Ensure the rubber plate at the base is in full contact with the ground
