I. Equipment Introduction

As the name suggests, the vertical packaging machine operates vertically. It uses roll film (rolled packaging film) to complete the entire process of bag making → metering and filling → sealing and cutting on-site, forming an independent three-sided or four-sided sealed packaging bag. For everyday consumer goods like laundry detergent, it achieves efficient, hygienic, and uniformly shaped packaging.

II. Main Working Process

1.Wrap Film Traction: The packaging film is pulled down from the roll, passing through a tensioning device and guide rollers.

2.Bag Forming: The film is folded into a cylindrical shape through a conical device called a forming device. The longitudinal sealing device heat-seals the sides of the film, forming a continuous cylindrical bag.

3.Horizontal sealing and cutting: The horizontal sealing mechanism clamps the film cylinder at a set position, completing the top sealing of the upper bag and the bottom sealing of the lower bag (simultaneously), and then cuts it in the middle, forming a bag with a sealed bottom and an open top.

4.Metering and filling:Metering method: This is crucial for laundry detergent packaging. Screw metering is commonly used, outputting a constant volume of material by controlling the number of rotations of a precision screw. Advantages include high accuracy, strong adaptability, and minimal dust generation.

5.Filling process: The bag moves below the filling port, and the metered laundry detergent falls into the bag through the hopper and filling nozzle.

6.Bag top sealing and output: After filling, the bag moves to the next station for heat sealing of the top. The finished bag exits from the machine outlet and enters the subsequent sorting and packing stages.

High degree of automation: The entire process from bag making to finished product is completed automatically, saving significant manpower.

Diverse Packaging Styles: By changing different forming devices, various bag types can be produced, including back-seal bags, three-side-seal bags, four-side-seal bags, and perforated bags.

High Metering Accuracy: Employing screw metering or a combination of metering (e.g., screw + electronic scale), the accuracy typically reaches ±1-2%, meeting commercial packaging requirements.

Hygienic and Dust-proof: The system can be designed as a relatively enclosed space, equipped with a dust extraction port, effectively controlling detergent dust and improving the working environment.

Easy Size Change: Parameters (such as bag length and filling volume) can be adjusted via a human-machine interface (touchscreen), and a few parts (such as forming devices and filling nozzles) can be replaced to adapt to different packaging sizes.

Material Savings: Using roll film, the cost is generally lower than pre-made bags, and it offers greater flexibility.

IV. Special Functional Requirements:

Coding/Instrumentation: Whether to integrate production date and batch number printing functions.

Nitrogen Filling/Vacuuming: This function can be selected if preservation and anti-caking are required.

Checkweigher Linkage: Connect to a checkweigher to reject products with unacceptable weight in real time.

Feeding system: Optional automatic elevator or vacuum feeder to reduce manual feeding.
