The DF14 Series is a super low-profile crimping connector designed for right-angle applications, prioritizing minimal board height. It offers a board mounting height of 2.5mm, with an offset type available for an even lower profile of 1.6mm, enabling signal fetching in space-constrained areas. These connectors are suitable for automatic mounting due to their vacuum mount face on the header, compatible with embossed tape packaging and optional tube packaging. The header features a four-wall structure for twist prevention and mis-insertion prevention, with a board-side wall to avoid friction damage and an attached metal fitting to prevent solder peel. Applications include LCDs, notebook PCs, mobile terminals, small business equipment, and video cameras.
