The Amphenol 97 Series is a general duty standard cylindrical connector, MIL-5015 style, designed for low-cost, non-environmental applications. It is widely used in the automotive, robotics, machine tool, and welding industries, as well as in commercial applications ranging from heavy equipment to ECG monitoring cables. The series offers a durable, field-proven design with threaded coupling, hard dielectric inserts, and a choice of solder or crimp termination. Shell components are fabricated from high-grade aluminum alloy for strength and environmental protection. The 97 Series is UL Recognized and CSA Recognized, with RoHS compliant product available.
