The Amphenol ICC QSFP DD interconnect system is a high-speed serial solution featuring a 76-position, 0.8mm pitch connector designed for aggregate bandwidths up to 400Gb/s over an 8 x 50Gb/s electrical interface. This system supports both 25Gb/s NRZ and 56Gb/s PAM4 modulation, enabling aggregate bandwidths of 200G and 400G per port, and up to 14.4Tb/s in a single switch slot. The cage and connector design offers backward compatibility with QSFP28 modules, allowing them to function within a QSFP DD port by utilizing 4 of the 8 electrical channels. It is a leading multi-lane pluggable form factor utilized across Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and InfiniBand applications, including cellular infrastructure, network interface cards, SAN, hubs, switches, servers, and test and measurement equipment. The system supports passive & active copper and optical solutions, with multiple connector configurations (single, ganged, stacked) and heat sink options available to optimize performance and heat dissipation. It meets or exceeds MSA-supported standard interface specifications and is RoHS compliant.
