Custom-Manufactured Turbine Adjustable Connecting Plate for Hydropower Plants
The adjustable connecting plate is a critical component of the wicket-gate linkage system in hydro-turbine units. It connects the connecting rod and guide-vane lever, enabling field technicians to calibrate each guide-vane opening by adjusting its effective assembly length. This ensures unified stroke across multiple guide vanes and prevents issues such as lagging, jamming, or excessive gaps in individual guide vanes.
Poor manufacturing accuracy or improper adjustment of connecting plates can lead to inconsistent guide-vane movement, unit flow deviation, vibration, wear of transmission parts, and ultimately affect the safety and stability of the entire turbine-generator set.
