The turbine bottom ring serves as the lower foundation component of the hydro‑turbine wicket‑gate mechanism. Together with the top cover and stay ring, it encloses the guide‑vane operating space. This critical component bears the bottom support for all guide vanes, defines the lower contour of the water flow passage, and transfers hydraulic loads to the stay ring.
Poor manufacturing quality of the bottom ring can result in hole position deviation, guide‑vane sticking or inflexible rotation, uneven gaps between guide‑vane and ring surface, excessive water leakage, accelerated wear, and can ultimately affect the efficiency and safe operation of the entire unit.
We deliver tailor‑made bottom ring solutions strictly based on customer drawings, turbine model, unit output, installation constraints, transportation limits, and on‑site water‑medium characteristics. Both monolithic integral type and multi‑split segment type are available for large‑diameter units.

High‑strength casting/welded structure: Optimized structural design to resist hydraulic pressure, pressure pulsation, and deformation under varying load conditions
High‑precision bore machining: The bottom bearing holes for guide vanes are CNC finish‑machined to ensure coaxiality with top‑cover guide‑vane holes, enabling flexible rotation of each guide vane without jamming
Custom anti‑wear protection: For rivers carrying large amounts of sediment, we provide hard‑facing overlay welding and special anti‑cavitation coating, significantly extending service life and reducing maintenance frequency
Reliable flange connection: Flange mating surfaces are precisely processed to ensure tight assembly and sealing with stay ring. Split‑segment versions feature high‑accuracy joint faces for convenient over‑size transportation and on‑site assembly
Reserved auxiliary interfaces: Pre‑set drain holes and inspection openings as per project requirements to facilitate on‑site operation and maintenance
