Custom-Manufactured Hydro-Turbine Seal Head for Hydropower Plants
During unit operation, high-pressure water leaks along the clearance between main shaft and housing. The seal head serves as the main mounting housing for main-shaft sealing components. It holds sealing rings, labyrinth components and auxiliary water pipelines. It intercepts leakage flow, guides sealing cooling water, and keeps bearing chamber dry.
If the seal head has casting defects, insufficient rigidity or poor processing accuracy, it will result in large water leakage, seal-ring abnormal wear, water inflow into the oil tank, bearing emulsification and other serious faults, endangering the safe operation of turbine-generator set.
We deliver tailor-made seal-head solutions strictly based on customer drawings, main-shaft diameter, working water pressure, installation envelope and actual site working conditions.

Integrated internal flow passage: Pre-processed channels for sealing water and cooling water. Reasonable flow-path layout ensures stable water supply for shaft-seal operation.
Reasonable assembly structure: Optimized flange and bolt layout, convenient for field disassembly, replacement of wearing sealing parts and daily inspection.
