What is the electric tailgate?

 
The smart electric tailgate is a brand-new car intelligent modification system. The Methods to open / close the tailgate:

1. The tailgate switch. Press the tailgate opening button on the dashboard or tailgate of the vehicle to realize the opening and closing operation of the tailgate.

2. Original key fobs remote control switch. The tailgate opening operation is achieved by pressing the opening / closing button on the original key fobs.
3. Automated manual. Car owners open or close the tailgate by pressing the tailgate switch, key fobs or using foot sense operation, so you can open the tailgate easily to avoid being inconvenient to open or close the tailgate because of too many objects on your hands.
4. Smart Anti-Pinch Function. When the tailgate is closed, obstacles are detected by sensors. The tailgate will move in the opposite direction when the sensor detects an obstacles, effectively preventing pinching the child or damaging the vehicle.

 
Electric tailgate products should have the function of intelligent detection of obstacles and realize emergency braking. The principle of anti-clamp of the electric tailgate is that the hall sensor (ECU) inside the spindle motor detects the speed of the motor. When the tailgate touch an obstacles during the process of opening and closing, the speed of the motor will drops below the set limit. The sensor detects an obstacle and the motor current consumption increases, so the power supply is reversed, resulting in moving in the opposite direction of tailgate.

The working principle of the strut:

When the motor is not working, the resistance of the screw rod, the resistance of the motor gear box, the spring force and the gravity of the door form a balance torque to keep the door hovering at any position.
When the motor is working, the motor torque breaks the balance. According to the motor torque direction, the strut performs telescopic movement to drive the door to open and close.
