Specific Applications
In specific applications, PP boards can be spliced or welded into various aquaculture ponds and water tanks for intensive breeding of freshwater fish, marine fish, shrimp, crabs, etc. Compared with traditional cement ponds, PP board ponds are lighter, can avoid water pollution caused by cement materials, and are easy to disassemble and move, making them suitable for temporary or large-scale aquaculture sites. They can also be made into water treatment components such as sedimentation tanks and filter tanks, which, together with filter materials, achieve water purification. Furthermore, they can be processed into partitions for dividing areas in aquaculture ponds, enabling separate breeding of aquatic animals of different species and growth stages to avoid fights or disease transmission. Some parts of aerators, such as pipes and protective covers, can also be made of PP boards to ensure stable operation of the equipment in underwater or humid environments. In addition, they can be made into small hatching tanks and seedling boxes to provide a stable and clean growth environment for fry, reducing the risk of fry injury and improving hatching survival rates.
