Before coating, the substrate surface of Pre Painted Galvanized Steel Coils needs to be treated to improve the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the coating. Common surface treatment methods include:
(1) Chemical treatment: By using chemical methods such as acid washing and phosphating, impurities such as rust and oil stains on the surface of the substrate are removed, forming a dense phosphating film to improve the adhesion of the coating.
(2) Mechanical treatment: By using methods such as sandblasting and shot blasting, rust, burrs, etc. on the surface of the substrate are removed to achieve a certain degree of surface smoothness, which is beneficial for the adhesion of the coating.
(3) Pre treatment coating: Apply a layer of pre treatment coating on the surface of the substrate to improve the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the coating. Pre treated coatings mainly include chromate salts, non chromate salts, etc.
1. Strong durability: The corrosion resistance of color coated coils is better than that of ordinary galvanized steel plates, and the service life is longer. For example, the service life of color coated steel strip using hot-dip galvanized steel strip as the substrate is about 1.5 times longer than that of galvanized strip.
2. Good heat resistance: At high temperatures, color coated rolls are less prone to discoloration, maintaining their original color and performance.
3. Excellent thermal reflectivity: Color coated rolls have good thermal reflectivity, which helps reduce the absorption and transfer of heat.
4. Excellent welding performance: Color coated coils are easy to weld, facilitate processing and installation.
5. High cost-effectiveness: Color coated rolls have durable performance and highly competitive prices, and are widely used in various fields.
