Is 304 stainless steel hard or soft?
HRC is not generally not used for 304 stainless steel (there is no standard for HRC of 304 stainless steel). HRC is only used for steel with higher hardness than that of Zhao, but 304 is relatively soft. The Vickers hardness of 304 is about 220.
