The primary benefit of Core Insert molding is the addition of strength and stiffness to the finished product. Core Insert molded products provide the same strength and durability while allowing a decrease in wall thickness versus parts which do not contain Mold Core Inserts when designed for this purpose. They also experience significantly less thermal expansion than their non-insertion counterparts.

It also can create longer-lasting products with a higher wear resistance, saving money in both the long and short term.
