High Performance Stainless Steel Material Mold Core Pins for Medicine Plastic Parts
Mold Core Pins are primarily used in plastic molding and die casting applications. These pins are fixed in the plastic mold to create specific shapes in molded or cast parts. Unlike ejector pins that push finished parts out of the mold, core pins shape the product during the molding process.
It's often more practical to machine Mold Core Pins as separate components and integrate them into the A-side or B-side of the mold as required. They are particularly useful in aluminum molds for creating tall, thin cores that would be too fragile if machined directly from the bulk aluminum. In some applications, Mold Core Pins also assist with part ejection from casting dies.
