The Alumina Three-Hole Saddle Ring is a specialized ceramic packing element manufactured from high-purity alumina (Al₂O₃) material through high-pressure forming and high-temperature sintering. Its name derives from its unique structural design: a cylindrical shape with three parallel through-holes evenly distributed along its axis. This three-hole structure significantly increases the specific surface area and porosity while ensuring mechanical strength. It features an extremely high refractoriness, excellent thermal shock resistance, outstanding chemical inertness, and high mechanical strength, making it an ideal choice for extreme high-temperature and corrosive environments.

Manufacturing Process

Raw material preparation (high-purity alumina powder) → Dry pressing or isostatic pressing → Precision trimming → High-temperature sintering (>1700°C) → Dimensional and performance inspection → Packaging and storage.

  1. Before Installation: Ensure the furnace or tower interior is level and clean.

  2. During Installation: Arrange in a regular or staggered random pile pattern to ensure uniform gas distribution and avoid local blockage.

  3. During Heat-up: Follow the prescribed furnace drying curve for the equipment to prevent damage from thermal stress due to rapid temperature increases.

  4. During Operation: Avoid direct impact from materials and prevent severe temperature fluctuations.
