The 24242000 is a high capacity pre filter cartridge engineered for compressed air systems requiring greater flow and larger particle holding volume. It employs micro fiberglass depth media to capture solid contaminants down to 1 micron, including rust, weld spatter, pipe scale, and condensed water droplets. This element is designed for applications where bulk particulate removal is critical but fine oil mist elimination is not needed.
With a flow capacity of 2.5 Nm³/min, the 24242000 supports multiple pneumatic tools, medium production lines, or main branch circuits. Its larger dimensions (77 mm diameter * 144 mm height) provide extended dirt holding capacity and lower flow velocity, reducing the frequency of element changeouts. Pressure drop stays at ≤0.01 bar during clean operation, delivering 5-7% energy savings on the air compressor over the 8000 hour rated lifetime.
This element excels as a standalone pre filter for non-critical industrial air or as a robust first stage ahead of high precision coalescing filters. Typical installations include central compressed air headers, high consumption laser cutting tables, electronics manufacturing plants with multiple SMT lines, and sandblasting rooms with large nozzles.
