This standard mechanical outside micrometer, also known as a micrometer screw gauge or external micrometer, is used in engineering and physics to measure small distances with high accuracy. The hardened and ground spindle along with a carbide anvil ensure durability and accuracy. The ratchet thimble allows precise application of pressure on the object being measured.
We supply a full measuring range from 0-25mm to 275-300mm, with graduation of 0.01mm. For ranges larger than 25mm, each micrometer is supplied with a setting standard for calibration.
All our outside micrometers come with fitted safe case packing and spanner. We also offer sets of micrometers to meet customers' multiple measurement requirements.
