This mould is customized for producing automotive instrument dashboard frame (cluster bezel) with soft grain leather texture overmold, meeting strict IATF 16949 automotive manufacturing standards.
Product Overview
This finished component is a car instrument cluster decorative frame, manufactured via two-shot overmolding process:
1. Rigid hard plastic base (ABS/PC/PA66+GF) forms the structural frame, mounting buckles and fixing holes.
2. Soft TPE/TPR material is overmolded on the surface to create leather grain texture, delivering anti-slip touch, shock absorption and premium interior visual effect.
Complex curved contours, integrated positioning clips and hidden mounting bosses are all formed in one mould without secondary assembly.
