SAE J526 tubing is electric-resistance-welded (ERW), single-wall, low-carbon steel precision tubing designed for automotive and similar industrial uses where reliable pressure performance and controlled forming (bending, beading, brazing, and double flaring) are required. The tube is formed from a single steel strip; after welding, the outside weld bead is removed to provide a smooth external surface suitable for assembly and routing in compact automotive packaging.
Note: SAE J526 material is not intended for single-flare applications because the internal weld area can create a potential leak path; if single-flare use is unavoidable, risk must be agreed between purchaser and producer.

SAE J526 is not intended for single-flare use; we align supply to double-flare / appropriate forming methods and control internal weld bead conditions when required by the purchase order.
Flaring performance is verified through standardized flaring procedures.
Can you hold tight tolerances and keep tube-to-tube consistency for mass production?
We follow SAE J526 tolerances and implement inline dimensional checks, plus lot traceability and compliance certificates upon request.
How do you prevent rust and contamination inside the tube during shipping and storage?
We provide internal cleanliness control and corrosion protection for shipment/normal storage, with optional extended coatings when specified.
