PPGL Steel Coil introduction:
PPGL steel coil is an innovative product by combining the strength of steel with the anti-corrosive capabilities of coatings. It is short for pre-painted galvalume steel coil, which uses aluminum-galvanized steel sheet (55% aluminium, 43% zinc and 1.6% silicon) as base metal. The material is exceptionally resistant to corrosion. It can also withstand to high temperature up to 315 degrees. PPGL steel coils are used in a wide variety of applications such as roofing & cladding, doors and windows, fencing, lighting, internal partition, ceiling, vehicle manufacturing industry, furniture, home appliance, and shipbuilding industry. Huiyi Steel offers PPGL steel coil with width of 600-1,250 mm, and the thickness of 0.12-1.2 mm. There are also various colors and patterns to choose from.With GL as base metal,after pretreatment(degrease and chemical treatment)and liquid dope with several layers of color,then after firing and cooling,finally the plate steel is called pre-painted galvanized steel(PPGl).Pre-painted gaIvanized steeI is good capable of decoration,molding,corrosion resistance.The types of coating layer include polyester, silicon modified polyester, polyurethane, polyvinylidene fluoride, super polyester, epoxy resin, acrylic acid, etc. The production line has the ability to meet the requirements of producing medium and high grade products such as building boards and home appliance plates. This line adopts the production process of two coatings and two curing with the complete procedures. The drying furnace adopts the electric heating direct hot air circulation system.
It is made by taking hot galvanized sheet and zinc-iron alloy hot galvanized sheet as the substrate through surface pretreatment, coating one or more layers of liquid coating by roll coating, baking and cooling. The used coatings including polyester, silicon modified polyester, high-durability polyester, polyvinylidene fluoride, epoxy and high corrosion-resisting coating are widely used for building, transport, home appliances, solar energy, furniture, etc. It is mainly used as the side door plate of refrigerators, and shell of DVDs, air conditionings, freezers, and washing machines.
