Product Description
A PSA Nitrogen Generator (Pressure Swing Adsorption Nitrogen Generator) is a device that separates nitrogen from air using pressure swing adsorption technology. Its core principle is to utilize adsorbents (such as carbon molecular sieves) to selectively adsorb impurity gases like oxygen and carbon dioxide under high pressure. Since nitrogen has a relatively weak adsorption capacity, it becomes concentrated. Subsequently, the pressure is reduced to desorb the impurities, enabling the regeneration and recycling of the adsorbents.

Technical Features
Adsorbents: Common types include carbon molecular sieves and zeolites, which must possess high selectivity (e.g., O₂/N₂ separation coefficient ≥ 3), compression strength (≥ 50N per particle), and low moisture content (≤ 1%).
Process Parameters: The operating pressure is usually 0.6-1.0MPa, the switching cycle is 30-120 seconds, and the nitrogen purity can reach 95%-99.999%.
Energy Consumption: The power consumption per cubic meter of nitrogen is approximately 0.1-0.3kWh, which is more than 30% more energy-efficient than the cryogenic method.

Food packaging (99.5% purity for anti-oxidation)
Electronics industry (high-purity nitrogen with 99.999% purity for semiconductor protection)
Chemical storage and transportation (explosion-proof inerting)
Precautions
A precision filter (0.01μm grade) must be installed at the front end to prevent oil contamination from clogging the adsorbents.
The recommended ambient temperature is 5-40℃, and the humidity should be ≤ 80%RH.
The service life of the adsorbents is about 3-5 years, and regular testing of nitrogen purity (using, for example, a portable oxygen analyzer) is required.
