Food-grade HEC Introduction:

Food-grade hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) meets the national standard GB2760 for food use. HEC is high-purity, free of impurities, and safe and compliant. HEC is used as a thickener, suspender, emulsifier, and water-retaining stabilizer in food. Its non-ionic system is resistant to acids, alkalis, and electrolytes, making it suitable for salad dressings, ketchup, fruit juices, yogurt, ice cream, bread and pastries, and jelly fillings. HEC effectively prevents oil-water separation in sauces, sedimentation of fruit juices and pulp, and the formation of large ice crystals in cold drinks. In baking, HEC locks in moisture and preserves freshness, delays aging and drying, optimizes the smooth and creamy texture of products, does not alter the original flavor or transfer aromas, has strong ingredient compatibility, is suitable for high-temperature sterilization processes, and extends shelf life.
