This is an automated inspection and handling equipment suite for the electronics manufacturing industry, comprising core modules including a dual-track board collector, 0.5 dual-track sorter, AOI (automated optical inspection equipment), and 0.5 dual-track transfer station. It is primarily deployed within SMT (surface mount technology) production lines for the inspection and sorting of PCBs (printed circuit boards).
Dual-track board collector: Responsible for sorting and collecting post-inspection PCBs, enabling automated material retrieval to enhance production efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
0.5 dual-track sorter: Capable of screening and sorting PCBs based on inspection results into distinct categories such as pass, repair required, or scrap, ensuring consistent product quality.
AOI (Automated Optical Inspection Equipment): Utilises optical imaging technology to perform high-precision inspection of component placement, solder joint quality, and circuit defects on PCBs. Capable of rapidly identifying issues such as cold solder joints, missed solder joints, component misalignment, and polarity errors, it serves as a critical device for ensuring SMT process quality.
0.5 Dual-track Transfer Station: Serves as an inter-equipment connector and buffer, ensuring smooth and orderly PCB transfer between devices to maintain production line continuity.
This integrated system significantly enhances PCB inspection efficiency and quality stability through automated testing and conveyance, reducing labour costs and misjudgement rates. It is widely applicable across SMT production stages in electronics manufacturing enterprises.
