These over-the-side PTFE immersion heaters are specifically designed for heating chemical liquids in plating tanks, offering excellent chemical resistance to aggressive acids.

  • PTFE sleeved 304 stainless steel elements inert to most solutions up to 212°F (100°C)
  • Low watt density design: 10 watts/square inch (1.5w/cm²)
  • Vapor resistant, flame retardant polypropylene terminal enclosure with 3 ft (.9m) flexible PVC liquid tight conduit
  • Grounded internal metal element and built-in thermal protector with replaceable P1 protector standard for solutions up to 180°F (82°C)
  • Certification: cULus, CE certified and CSA

Flat Assembly Type - PTFE Immersion Heater
Universal 'all plastic' model ideal for higher power applications (from 6kW) up to 48 kW. Perfect for large tanks with versatile installation options including side of tank, bottom of tank with feet, or sliding mounts. Features rigid structure optimized for significant power requirements with assembly type F on a plastic rod frame (PVDF or PP). Standard configuration includes Teflon® FEP coated heating cable and PP or PVDF rod frame.
