Industrial Applications of Inline Heaters
Inline heaters, sometimes referred to as circulation heaters, have numerous industrial applications. They utilize heating elements covered with special anti-corrosion vessel chambers for indirect heating. Fluid circulates through a closed loop around the heating element until reaching the desired temperature, then exits through a nozzle. Different applications may require specific flanged connections, sheath materials, or temperature ranges. These heaters are often insulated to maximize efficiency.
According to the U.S. Department of Energy, homes using 41 gallons or less of hot water daily can achieve 24% to 34% energy savings with tankless water heaters compared to standard models. Even homes using around 86 gallons per day can still save 8% to 14% on energy costs.
