During HDPE pipe extrusion line operation, workers must start the machine and adjust parameters throughout the process. This generates significant waste PE melt lumps - large, hard blocks that cannot be processed by standard crushers. Our single shaft shredder, with high rotation speed and specialized shaped knives, efficiently processes these materials through the input port, producing uniform particles from the outlet.
Two Shredder Configurations Available
We offer two single shaft shredder models: sliding port shredder and upper port shredder. Both feature identical motor specifications and internal structure, providing flexible installation options for different production environments.
Single shaft plastic shredders perform pre-crushing of challenging materials including sacks, jumbo bags, tires, cable, and yarn that are difficult to process directly in granulators. Pre-crushing enhances granulator capacity while extending equipment and blade lifespan.
Materials processed through rotating and fixed blades can be further refined to desired sizes using granulators. The system includes automatic stop, reverse direction operation, and alarm functions to handle material jamming, metal detection, and overload conditions.
