The QAB‑Diamond001 friction spigot is a surface‑mount balustrade fixing designed for frameless glass railings. Investment‑cast in 2205 duplex stainless steel (SS304/SS316L optional), it provides exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. The unique oval‑square profile supports 12 mm glass panels via a friction‑fit system that requires no drilling through the glass – preserving panel integrity while delivering a clean, minimalist look. Available in mirror or brushed satin finishes, with an integrated one‑piece EPDM gasket, pressure plate, and flat cover ring included.
Developed for frameless glass balustrades in residential and commercial projects – including balconies, terraces, staircases, shopping centres, hotel lobbies, and office atriums. Suitable for surface‑mounting to concrete, steel, or timber substrates with 12 mm tempered glass panels.
