Quartz glass has good transmittance in all spectral bands from purple to red. The visible light transmittance is above 93%, specially in the ultraviolet spectral region where the maximum transmittance is over 80%.
Good Electrical Insulation
The resistance of quartz glass is 10,000 times that of ordinary glass and has good electrical performance even at low temperature.
