It is mainly used for vertical turning, face drilling, tapping, side drilling, and multi-process machining of medium-sized precision parts.
The VT60M has a larger machining diameter, higher machining height, larger spindle diameter, stronger spindle torque, and higher load capacity than the VT50M.
The VTM series mainly focuses on turning, drilling, tapping, and side drilling. For heavier milling or five-face turning-milling, VTY or DF series would be more suitable.
The maximum machining diameter is Ø 500 mm for VT50M and Ø 600 mm for VT60M.
