HEMA-Free
HEMA (2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) is a small-molecule monomer used to build adhesion in conventional gel polish — and it is the number one allergen in nail cosmetics. Because HEMA molecules are small enough to pass through the skin barrier, repeated contact with uncured gel can trigger allergic contact dermatitis: redness, itching, swelling, and blistering around the nails, sometimes spreading further. Sensitisation is cumulative, meaning a reaction can appear after months or even years of problem-free use — and once it develops, it can be permanent. Our formulas contain no HEMA, using larger-molecule oligomers that are too big to penetrate the skin barrier while still bonding securely to the natural nail. Compliant with EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
TPO-Free
TPO (trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide) is a photoinitiator — the compound that triggers the gel to harden under UV/LED light. In 2025 the EU reclassified TPO as a Category 1B reproductive toxicant and banned it from all cosmetic products, including gel nail polish, effective 1 September 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2025/877). While TPO-free is not yet required in every market, we have already reformulated with alternative photoinitiators so our gel cures fully, hardens properly, and stays ahead of global regulatory direction.
Non-Toxic, Clean Formula
Our "free-from" list goes beyond HEMA and TPO. We exclude the most commonly flagged nail-product ingredients:
- Formaldehyde and formaldehyde releasers — classified carcinogens
- Parabens — potential endocrine disruptors
- Phthalates, including DBP (dibutyl phthalate) — linked to reproductive and developmental concerns
- Triphenyl phosphate (TPHP) — associated with endocrine activity
- HEMA-related methacrylates, including Di-HEMA TMHDC

How to use it
What you'll need: Semi-cured gel nail stickers · UV/LED nail lamp · Nail file · Cuticle stick · Prep pad (or rubbing alcohol) · Nail clipper · Optional: gel top coat, cuticle oil
Step 1 — Prep Your Nails
Wash and dry your hands. Push back your cuticles with a cuticle stick, then file your nails to your desired length and shape before applying. Wipe each nail with a prep pad to remove all oils and residue — clean, oil-free nails are the single biggest factor in how long your manicure lasts.
Tip: Avoid lotions and cuticle oils for at least 1 hour before application.
Step 2 — Choose the Right Size
Hold the sticker sheet over each nail to find the closest-fitting strip for that nail. Peel off the clear protective backing. When in doubt, choose a strip slightly narrower than your nail — a strip that's too wide will lift at the edges.
Tip: Never let the strip touch your skin or cuticle.
Step 3 — Apply and Smooth
Place the strip at the cuticle line, leaving a small gap between the strip and your cuticle. Press from the cuticle outward toward the tip, smoothing firmly to press out any air bubbles. Press the edges down well.
Step 4 — Trim and File
Cut off the excess length with a nail clipper, leaving roughly 2 mm of overhang. File the overhang off at the free edge, filing in one direction only to shape the tip and blend the edge.
Step 5 — Cure Under the Lamp
Press down the edges once more to be sure no air is trapped underneath. Cure your nails under your UV/LED lamp for the full time recommended by the lamp and sticker manufacturer — typically 60 seconds for an LED lamp. The strip should feel fully hard, not tacky. Under-curing is the main cause of premature lifting and uneven wear.
Step 6 — Finish (Optional)
If your set includes a gel top coat, apply a thin layer and cure again for the recommended time (usually about 120 seconds) for extra shine and a sealed edge. Keep the top coat off your skin and cuticles.
For Best Results
- Avoid water, swimming, and heavy cleaning for the first hour after curing.
- Moisturize your cuticles daily to prevent lifting.
- For short or soft nails: cut the strip to match your natural nail before filing. For longer nails: leave extra length and file to shape.
- If the strip feels tacky or lifts early, extend your cure time on the next application.

How to Remove
- Soften the adhesive — Soak your hands in warm water for 3–5 minutes, or apply cuticle oil generously around each nail edge.
- Lift gently — Working from one corner, slowly ease the strip up with a cuticle stick or wooden orange stick. Add more warmth or oil as you go.
- Never force it — Do not peel from the nail bed or pull the strip off dry. If it resists, warm it longer and try again.
- Clean up — Wipe away any residue with a prep pad or a gentle acet-free remover, then wash your hands.
- Nourish — Finish with cuticle oil or hand cream to keep the natural nail and surrounding skin healthy between sets.
Important: No acet soak, no drilling, and no filing down your natural nail — removal is designed to be damage-free.
