Multiple Probe Types And Materials RF Capacitance Liquid Level Meter Easy To Be Installed Operating Principle
Based on RF capacitance technology. Apply a radio frequency to the probe, determine the affects of the surrounding environment through continuous analysis. Because each material has its own dielectric constant, and they are different from the air’s conductivity. When the probe contacts the material, the total impedance reflected by the small capacitance shift changes. Because the energized probe and the container wall form together like a capacitor, the probe insulator and the surrounding air become dielectric materials. When the air (dielectric constant is 1.0) is replaced by other material (dielectric constant>1.0), the change of capacitance value changes the impedance. This effect is measured by the circuit and then compared with the reference data established by the sensitivity setting (circuit).
Further more, by adding Driving-Shield and chopper circuit in RF Admittance tech, it can actualize separate measurement of impedance and capacitance. In this way, RF Admittance Level Meter can avoid being misguiding by hanging material affects during measurement process. That ensures the measuring accuracy.
