Radar level meter NYRD80X serie sensors are 80GHz high-frequency radar type level measuring instruments, with a maximum measuring range of 120 meters. The antenna is further optimized, and the new fast microprocessor can perform signal analysis and processing at a higher rate, so that the instrument can be used for some complex measurement conditions such as reactor and solid silo.
Its antenna transmits narrow microwave pulses, which are transmitted downward through the antenna. When the pulse wave reaches the surface of the measured medium, it is reflected back and received by the antenna system again. The signal is transmitted to the electronic circuit part and automatically converted into a level signal (because the pulse propagation speed is extremely fast, the time taken for the electromagnetic wave to reach the target and return to the receiver after reflection is almost instantaneous).
80GHz Radar Level Meter Design Feature
