Cable-based guided wave radar level gauge is a contact type liquid level measuring instrument based on the time domain reflectometry (TDR) principle. It measures the liquid level by high-frequency microwave pulses propagating along the cable, and is particularly suitable for liquid and material level measurement in large range and complex working conditions.

Wide measurement range: The measurement range is typically up to 20 meters, and some models can be extended to 30 meters or even 35 meters, far exceeding that of the rod type (generally ≤ 6 meters).
Adaptability to complex media: It is suitable for measuring liquids, slurries, solid particles and powders with a dielectric constant of ≥ 1.4. For viscous liquids or solid powders, the effect is better than that of the rod type.

Accuracy and reliability: The measurement accuracy is usually less than 0.1%, with a resolution of 1mm, repeatability of ±3mm, and high long-term stability.
