General-Purpose Electromagnetic Flowmeter For Liquids With Measurable Conductivity
The general-purpose electromagnetic flowmeter is a flowmeter that measures based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction.
Measurement is independent of fluid properties: As long as the conductivity exceeds the threshold (typically >5 μS/cm), the measurement results are not affected by changes in fluid temperature, pressure, density, or viscosity. This is a key reason why it is called "universal".
No flow obstructions, extremely low pressure loss: The measuring tube is a straight, smooth pipe with the same diameter as the pipeline (full pipe type), causing almost no additional pressure loss and achieving significant energy-saving effects.
Extremely wide measurement range: The range can reach 100:1 or even 1000:1. It can measure both large and very small flows, making it suitable for applications with drastic flow variations.
Can measure complex fluids: It can measure liquid-solid two-phase flows containing solid particles, fibers, and slurries (such as mud, pulp, slurry, and sewage), making it the preferred choice for such applications.
Bidirectional measurement: With the support of the converter, it can easily measure flow in both directions.
High accuracy and excellent repeatability: The general accuracy is usually ±0.5%, and some can reach ±0.2%. It has excellent repeatability, making it suitable for trade settlement and process control.
Quick response: With no mechanical inertia, it responds quickly and can measure pulsating flows.
