About Ammoniacal Nitrogen

Ammoniacal nitrogen (NH3-N) is use to measure ammonia qualitative and semi-quantitative in water. (Ammonia is a kind of toxic pollutant which are found in landfill leachate and in waste products, such as sewage, liquid manure and other liquid organic waste products). Thus, it is exploited as a measurement of water health such as nature rivers or man-made water reservoirs and wasted treatment or water

purification systems.

An approximate estimate of water Ammonia Nitrogen level can be read by visual or instrument.

Product Specification:

1.50 strips per box, reaction tube, dropper, reagent solution are included in package.

2.Ammonia Nitrogen testing range: 0-10-50-100-200-500 (mg/l)or(ppm)

Specimen collection & preparation

Keep testing water at-rest condition for few minutes ,then take 4-5ml solution as testing sample. The sample should be colorless or light color, if in dark color, activated carbon is recommended for cleaning. Please use clean, dry, sterilized container to collect sample.

Using Instructions

1. Prepare testing solution, reagent, testing strip, reaction tube, dropper, reagent solution.

2. Take absorption liquid 0.4-0.5ml to reaction tube by dropper, then add sample water (two drops) to the same reaction tube.

Shake to mixture well then keep in-rest condition for 60 seconds. (Please close cap after taking out a strip in case of rest strips lost chemistry.)

3. Submerge the strip into mixing solution for 1-2 seconds.

4. Compare result with color chart and match Ammonia level.

5. We suggest cleaning reaction tube & pipette for next using.

Storage

Please Store in 2℃-30℃ dry conditions.(2℃-8℃ more better).

Please keep away from moisture, direct light or high temperatures to preserve the integrity of the reagent area (the test pad).

The Ammonia Nitrogen test box has a 2 year shelf time. The strips are good for up to 90 days once opened.
