Product Overview

ETFE film is produced by melt extrusion of ETFE resin, featuring a smooth surface and excellent overall performance. The film supports heat sealing, welding, metallization, lamination, and thermoforming processes.

All films are manufactured in cleanroom facilities, available in thicknesses from 12.5 μm to 500 μm, and widths up to 1600 mm. Surface treatment (single or double-sided corona, chemical, or matte treatment) is available to enhance adhesion with other materials.

  • Outstanding resistance to most chemicals; inert to acids, bases, and solvents
  • Only molten alkali metals, fluorine, and certain halogen compounds under specific conditions may cause corrosion
  • Excellent barrier to liquids, gases, water vapor, and organic vapors
Thermal Properties
  • Continuous service temperature: -240 °C to +150°C
  • Melting point: > 260°C
Flame Resistance
  • Flammability rating: UL 94 V-0
  • Oxygen Index: 30%
Electrical Properties
  • High dielectric strength: > 160 kV/mm (0.025 mm film)
  • Low dielectric constant and dissipation factor
  • Excellent electrical reliability compared to other films
Mechanical Properties
  • Excellent non-stick and low-friction characteristics
  • High impact and tear resistance
  • Good mechanical performance even at cryogenic temperatures
Weatherability
  • Stable under long-term outdoor exposure
  • High transmittance of UV and visible light, except far infrared

Packaging

ETFE film is supplied in rolls on standard paper or plastic cores, sealed in protective bags, and packed in custom cartons.
