Product Description
M-505 primer is the basic material for surface treatment of car body steel plates. As the first layer of composite coating on car body paint surface, its core function is to provide adhesion foundation for subsequent coatings and prevent corrosion of car body steel plates. Although it cannot fill the surface defects of the car body, it can adapt the bare metal surface to putty, intermediate coating, and topcoat, and is a key intermediate layer connecting the coating and the car body.
The correct selection of primer is crucial, as it not only affects anti-corrosion and adhesion, but also relates to spraying costs, construction convenience, paint film durability, and overall vehicle coating quality. In addition, construction techniques such as film thickness, uniformity, dryness, use of diluents, environmental temperature and humidity, and substrate pretreatment also directly affect the quality of primer coating.
Common body repair primers include phosphating primer, epoxy primer, and polyurethane primer.
