Operating on eco-friendly R134a refrigerant, this 225 HP powerhouse features an expanded 5-inch suction interface to drastically minimize gas velocity throttling and maintain low pressure drops across high-volume suction headers.
To overcome severe capacity loss in air-cooled outdoor chillers during peak summer heat, the compressor integrates an enlarged 1-5/8 inch economizer subcooling port. Injecting vapor directly into the compression pocket increases liquid subcooling before the expansion valve, restoring lost cooling output and preserving overall system COP. Its dual-solenoid stepless modulation (25%-100%) continuously matches fluctuating facility loads to prevent wasteful motor cycling.
Constructed with a heavy-duty 915 kg cast housing, the 06TUA483 provides natural mass-dampening to suppress vibration and mechanical noise in rooftop chiller installations. Internal differential pressure lubrication continuously channels oil to SKF/NSK rotor bearings without requiring a mechanical oil pump. Internal discharge check valves and winding-embedded thermistors safeguard the rotors against reverse rotation and thermal overloads.
