The 06DR718 is a 5.0HP 4-cylinder reciprocating unit designed for medium-to-low temperature commercial cold storage, process cooling, and walk-in freezers. Featuring optimized gas passages and precision Swedish steel reed valves, it minimizes valve resistance and maximizes volumetric efficiency. This unit delivers stable evaporating temperatures while drastically reducing daily power consumption across cold chain storage operations.
In demanding refrigeration environments, frequent start-stop cycles often lead to severe motor burnout and lubrication failure caused by refrigerant dilution. To address these industry challenges, this unit integrates a heavy-duty motor with high-grade electrical insulation and an automated bidirectional oil pump. The oversized crankcase oil reservoir protects bearing surfaces from oil starvation during startup, providing substantial long-term value.
The unit supports 50% capacity modulation via an integrated suction cutoff unloading system, operating at much cooler temperatures than hot-gas bypass loops.
