The 06CC337 is a 10HP two-stage reciprocating chiller compressor built to handle high-demand low-temperature fluid chilling, process cooling, and commercial freezing applications. Delivering a generous 42.0 m³/h low-stage displacement at 1450 rpm, this 6-cylinder compound compressor maintains steady suction volumetric efficiency even under extreme evaporating temperature drops down to -50°C. Its robust two-stage compression framework prevents efficiency loss commonly seen in standard single-stage chiller installations.
Managing extreme compression ratios requires effective thermal suppression. The 06CC337 incorporates an interstage plate heat exchanger that cools vapor between compression stages while subcooling liquid refrigerant prior to the expansion valve. This interstage cooling mechanism keeps discharge temperatures well within safe operational limits, prevents oil carbonization, and maximizes net evaporator kW output per electrical input.
Constructed with a reinforced cast-iron body, high-flow Swedish steel reed valves, and premium motor insulation, the 06CC337 is engineered for continuous industrial operation. An automated bidirectional forced vane oil pump paired with a 4.5L crankcase sump ensures instant bearing lubrication during startup. Designed as an exact replacement for legacy 06CY337 units, it allows engineers to upgrade existing refrigeration racks without modifying piping centerlines.
