Delivering an impressive 61.2 m³/h low-stage displacement at 1450 rpm, this 6-cylinder unit absorbs massive suction gas volumes during rapid pull-down phases while maintaining steady volumetric efficiency in deep-freeze operating environments down to -50°C.
Operating at high compression ratios creates severe thermal stress on valves and internal bearings. The 06CC665 mitigates this through an integrated interstage plate heat exchanger that cools vapor between the 4-cylinder low-pressure stage and 2-cylinder high-pressure stage (30.6 m³/h displacement). Simultaneously, liquid refrigerant is subcooled prior to entering the evaporator, eliminating flash gas, increasing net cooling effect per kilogram of refrigerant, and allowing system designers to optimize liquid line sizing.
To prevent voltage spikes in large facilities, the 06CC665 supports Part-Winding (PW) motor starting, effectively dropping peak inrush current from 173 A (XL) to 104 A (PW). Equipped with an expanded 9.0L oil sump and a positive-displacement reversible vane oil pump, it maintains continuous lubrication across all journals during continuous duty cycles. Engineered as a direct retrofit for legacy 06CY665 units, it incorporates a 35 mm (1-3/8 in) discharge valve and 42 mm (1-5/8 in) suction port for effortless integration with R22, R404A, and R507 systems.
